About the program

The Summer in New York City English course helps students ages 17+ to develop their English skills while enjoying one of the most energetic cities in the world – New York City! The Summer in New York City program at the prestigious Juilliard School is perfect for independent learners aged 17 and over who want to improve their English, meet new people, and see the sights in New York City. The three-week, all-inclusive program allows students to live in the dormitories of the world-famous Juilliard School at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, learn English with ELS instructors, and take trips to thrilling local attractions.

Curriculum

The Summer in New York City program includes 3 50-minute General English classes with professional ELS instructors and one daily American Culture lesson, Monday through Friday.  Students enjoy field trips and excursions related to NYC and the subjects studied in American Culture classes, including trips to the city’s world famous museums, the United Nations, Broadway shows and Radio City Music Hall and much more!
